Herbert BURKERT Prof. Dr. President, Research Centre for Information Law, University of St.Gallen, Switzerland

Herbert Burkert is currently President of the Research Centre for Information Law at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) where he teaches Public Law and Information and Communication Law. He has studied at the universities of Cologne and Dublin, received his academic degrees at the Universities of Frankfurt (Germany) and St.Gallen; he is also a Senior Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems, St.Augustin, Germany (currently on leave of absence) and the Executive Board Member of a private art foundation for contemporary art in Cologne, Germany.
